Default mk1 4x4 cars painted !

i,ve just started building my mk1 4x4 i,d been looking for the one that woz built years ago as its massive job to take on but never found, it so i bought a saff 4x4 4 the parts, found a mk1 with rusty floor and got my mate round with his stilly! only got few pic,s and will keep posting as i get on with it it will be running greys with t34 pro 500 cooler coilovers compression struts polly bushed electric power steering adj tca,s any way here,s some pic,s

few have been done but no one ever takes pic,s from the start, but i have and will carry on i do have most of the parts just need fuel tank and little bits and bob,s now i have stuff every were in the house even t34 and bubble arches are in attic he he running ecos rims on it hope they look ok did post and ask about some one photo shoping a mk1 with them on but no takers he he

Ive photos of the build from day 1, biggest thing i didnt think about would be the build cost, Ŗ1800 for dipping, Ŗ2000 for wheels and so...soon adds up..hope it goes well, mine will be on the show scene this year so come and have a look..

I must be shaming myself i thougt my XR2 was bad in my opinion. But you guys must be freaks unbelievable. Amazing job to go on with that... go on like this and keep these cars on the road

You beat me to it. I will be running my 4 door mk2 this year with all it's bits in place as i have never driven a fast mk2, but over winter my bubble arched mk1 shell will be getting the sierra floor treatment. Check out andy's mk2 thread for pointers/inspiration. I'll have to pop round sometime to see the progress . Best of luck.

well 2 day i got , the front in lined up square screwed it in place then checked it weilded it tryed engine in rads and big cooler bonnet is on will post some more pics 2 moz as am nackerd now and need lots of beer to sort my head out !
