My mate is going to do it. He turbo'd his Blacktop he had in a MK3 Fiesta so I'm confident he can do it. Will save me a load of money rather than a company doing it anyway. Then management and mapping will probably be done by Jamsport as they tend to be doing lots of work on ST's at the moment. But it's a long way away yet so we'll see.

Yeah I want an ST rear beam mainly cause drums look proper pony behind the MO's. Will get that soon as I've wanted that for ages anyway. Was thinking of getting 300mm, or just uprating the pads to Ferrodo DS2500's. Standard ST brakes aren't good enough on a 1.6 never mind what they'll be like with over double the power.
Gonna sit there until I've got the money for my mate to Turbo it. No point fitting to only have to take it out again when it needs built up.

Not done much lately...repainted the wheels for Trax with white primer this time so they are EVEN brighter.
Still waiting for my MO's to come back from the longest refurb in history. A paint matching company that matched them completely the wrong colour, great company .
In the mean time scouring eBay for something to buy, came across these Focus RS Calipers, Discs & Pads freshly painted in Magnum Grey, perfect! Got them on their way to me once I sort a courier. Should sit nicely under the 17's.
And bought a new rear wiper to replace the cheap looking metal one.
Hopefully start having updates to do with the ST engine soon, still doing some research on parts at the moment.

Well they arrived, and I couldn't be happier!
I remember thinking the ST discs were massive, now look at them!
These wheels won't be staying, mostly because they won't fit over the brakes
And behind the MO's
Cannot wait! Need some braided lines and a bracket to make them fit and they'll be going on once the MO's are back.
Also found some pics of me on track the other day!
Incase anybody hasn't seen them, the videos:

Graham I thought I replied to your PM when I got it?
The company I got my manifold from went into liquidation not long after so there's a shortage of them on the market atm
I do think places such as pumaspeed bought a few though initially and seen as there's only 1 other with my manifold I think they should still have some in stock matey
infact here it is
http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/showdetails.php?id=622
Although i'm sure the price has gone up recently? IIRC it was £400 last time I looked

Na I never got your reply! You absolute legend, I was thinking I was gonna have to get one made up. Cheers! Is there any chance you could make a Spec list or send me a spec list of what you already have? Or give me an idea of what exactly came in the conversion kit? PM me it if so please

Just found it, cheers! Looks very simple to be honest, alot simpler than I was expecting. Only thing is I can't see anything on the list that'd change your compression apart from 'new gaskets'? Did the include a thicker headgasket?

They are MO1770's mates
And cheers I can't wait to get back on track
Well I bought a front strut brace for it and fitted it just now:
Also got rid of the rubber dildo type gaiter cover, before:
After:
And spent the whole of last Sunday doing an anal clean on it, wheels off, arches cleaned, rear lights out to clean behind them
Crap drums Gonna re-hammerite them but cannot wait to get discs
Then some pics from that night:

Thanks people Loving the brakes so much, they impress everyone who has been in the car lol
Need to get the power side sorted asap, speaking to someone who knows a bit about Duratec Turbo, originally I thought I was looking at £1200 for pistons, but he's found some in America for $500, so gonna try and get them to find me lots of bits and hopefully he might build it too with any luck, as I'm not feeling too confident about doing it myself having had very little experience with engine work never mind converting one

What rear wiper arm did you use to replace the crappy metal one with, was it a striaght swap over???
