There is a list of things I want to do, I could do them now but I'd soon run out of things to do very quickly so just taking my time. On my last car it was all spend spend spend and I quickly ran out of things to do lol

I hope so! My mate did a rough Photoshop of them and I just had to get some. Can't wait to just put them on even without tyres to see how they'll look!
Here's the photoshop:
Darker than the ones I've bought though.

I have got some ST sideskirts I am going to have off a mate, and I have facelift mirrors in my garage waiting to be colour coded. Got to cut the plugs off and match wires up though as the plugs are different, which is quite annoying tbh...
Once I have the skirts I will get the bump strips/boot strip/door handles/skirts (they're red atm)/washer jets/mirror caps colour coded
Also wanna spray the front plastics and rear valence in anthracite, but gonna get hold of a second set and have a go at that myself, if I don't like it then I haven't got to worry about ruining my own plastics!
Just lots of ideas and I know what I want to do with the car but I don't want to rush it and run out of things to do

MY COMPS ARRIVED Bloody love them!
Obligatory in box shot
Unwrapping...
Awesome
How they'll look when rolling lol
And plain plates arrived but only fitted the rear atm
They look so much better without the GB logo, all about the simple touches
All in all a good progress update I think, just gotta get some tyres ordered when I decide what I want!

Toyo Proxes T1-R's ordered in 195/40/17 as we decided last night I would almost certainly have issues with scrubbing on 205's and being as low as I am. Can't wait to get them but just missed out on the time where they dispatch them today so won't get them till next week.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Nice looking car but I'm in the 'too low' camp... looks like the suspension has collapsed with the wheels that for up in the arches .... IMO ...
and sod running it up like that propped up on a trolley jack
get some piccies up when the wheels are fitted

Well I have had Facelift Mirrors in my garage from my last Fiesta, was going to get them colour coded when I get everything done, but fancied a go at spraying myself. Considering it's my first time spraying anything I'm happy with the result apart from the orange peel, but I couldn't get it out, maybe a T-cut will help.
Started life as Colorado Red
Rubbed down with 800grit wet
Grey primer
Pre-facelift mirrors
Colour coded Facelifts
Both mirrors on and also a shot of my plain front numberplate
Will get better pics when my wheels are on (hopefully tomorrow) and go to a decent location

Looks nice mate
To get rid of the orange peel, go over them very lightly with some 1500 wet and dry and plenty of water. Do it carefully and dont go through the lacquer!
Wash the residue off them then go over it by hand with some machine polish or a bit of t-cut!

Yeah it has to be jammerrs or I'd be scrubbing everywhere lol, had to raise it and take the rear spacers out.
Got my mate to machine some of the hub away so it sits in further as couldn't stop the rubbing and don't wanna keep raising it, but it sits spot on now, drove 80 miles for work around London and didn't scrub one, perfect
Got another rig shot too:

Got the ST brakes on, but they're utter shite, so much brake fade and also smoke very easily after a small hack through some lanes. Very disappointed.

I did wipe them down before putting them on so can't see them being greasy, just annoying if I've been sold a screwed set of brakes.

To be honest mate sounds like the pad has had some grease or oil soaked into it. I would change them and see how it goes from there.
As seen with your previous modifications you seem quite mechanically competent so I don't wish to insult your fitting skills or anything!! Was the mating surface between the disc and the caliper completely clean? Even the tiniest bit of grit in there will cause a vibration.

PassionFord Post Troll
realy thich question but...are those pics down to camera or user?
or both?
ive always loved taking pics and just wondered how much of it is down to a good camera and how much a good camera such as that one(?) would cost if you dont mind me asking

But it could be a possibility I suppose, would there be anyway of cleaning up the pads myself? Sand them down? Might get rid of the top layer which could be greasy, or would it soak through if it's the case?
My camera (Canon 400D) cost me £350 about a year ago, but you can probably get one for like £250 now 2nd hand obviously, bargain price for the camera. Even on Auto Mode will produce shots 10x better than a normal camera.
