Default Rebuilding my Fiesta XR2 '85 (on the Dyno)

Here are some pictures of my Fiesta XR2 mk2 from 1985!
At the moment my car stands by the painter to get a new paint in stratos silver! Iam busy with it for a year now and the end is in sight. It got new front end wings, the bottom is cleaned sprayed and waxed completely with M3 coating!
Hopefully i get the car in may on the road with fresh MOT!
I also got a orginal RS1600i in white, thats my next project

new wings

Thats right this wheels are 13" 7j ATS rims. With the XR2 body skirts on it's just in the margin for the dutch law. Its a little bit german style, i have already got new ones 14" to be exactly! I will post some more pictures because this was the beginning of the project

Just a before picture how it looks like and how its finally gona be! But then nice and shiny

Just a simple steel brush on a drill, but with very fine steel or coper.
And thinner to clean the in and outside! Takes only a couple of hours to get it like this So you have to be a little patient but the result is here

Default painted the skirts

Yesterday i painted my skirts at my mates garage. First filled it up with a primer coating. To repair the dits and then painted them matt black.
On the photos they are still wet but they dry up nicely! Needs only a second layer of paint 8)

after some black paint

In the photo the paint looks a bit blurry but they dry up very well
