My mk2 fiesta zetec
Got the car for nothing and with a grand in my pocket thought i would build a car as i had 2 weeks without work lol
Got the shell painted and engine in in the two weeks and have just got the litte bits to sort.
Engine is rs1800, rs 2000 manifold, r6 carbs built by jekyl and hyde and megajolt management mapped by jekyl and hyde.

Don't get me wrong i can see why people like to spend Ł1000's on their car but i don't like the way people take it sooooooo serious lol... like all the tuner wars that are always going on.
Tom from Jekyl and hyde that done mine is starting up a nice little firm and really knows his stuff and just wants to get the word out.
This was his first go with bike carbs and done a fantastic job.
It's a bloody good grin this motor and for no money really.

That was just running 118 horses worth of RS turbo power. But at 729 kg, was running easy sub 1 minute laps at the time.
Tis now on a high comp turbo 2.0 ZVH.
If I was going to do it all again I would prob go for a fairly stock 2.0 Zetec on TB's or 45's, and save myself a Łmillion on blown turbos and everything that goes with them.
Try and keep it on 13"s, black pots look good, steels with trims even better! And get a nice Popular Plus 1.1 sticker for the back. Purple I think it should be!

Shakey Jake, how did you install your rear strut brace? i have a deep impact socket but the strut keeps turning. There's no way of tightening the bolt and hold the thread still at the top.. how did you get around this problem???
