Default rs1600i restoration

doin a restoration on my mates rs1600i which needs a lot of work. who ever tried to restore it needs shooting welding new pannels over rusty ones and well his welds are halarious

is it a proper 16i shell i thought they all had 2 bolt strut tops. fair play for restoring it looks a lot of work

early shells had two bolt then later went to the ones this has

well got some more done today cuttin all the rot out in places hopefully have it welded up by the end of the week
going to strip the engine bay to bare metal as sumone has bodged it by puttilin filler in holes lol

theres a gen ford roof skin on S1 turbo site for 450 quid has got the proper sunroof aparture instead of that cut in job thought you might be interested if your rebuilding to show std
