All three were definitely involved!

Well, long time since I've looked at this thread. The car has gone through a few changes since this was last updated.

Namely, rear strut brace installed, koni adjustable suspension with cobra springs, and more recently an engine swap.

Before and after.

The basic spec is:
Zetec 2.0L Black Top
PEC Piston's and Rods
Piper uprated valve springs
Bosch Green injectors
Manifold Adapter with RST manifold
T3 turbo with 55trim compressor wheel and 360 degree bearing
Omex 600 managment

Currently putting some miles on it before getting it set up.
Big thanks to Karlos for the guidance and his fantastic thread.
Also big shoutout to Studabear for supplying me with extra pictures and tips on the fiddly parts of the conversion!

What sort of power is it running now? Still a BC box?
How does it drive? I'm in the market for another series 2 but it's going to be a FRS lump and box I think.

Its going to be set up on monday. I think somewhere around 220-250 should be good. It's an IB5 gearbox which is why im not going to go too crazy with the power. Plus I want to see how driveable it is. (can always wind it up more at a later date)

As for driving, just been out and about putting the running in miles on it. The biggest plus is how quiet the engine is. No tappety, rattly noises like with a CVH.
The CVH manifold means it still sounds like an RST, if a little bit louder.

Well it made 228Bhp and 239LbsFt until a turbo flange nut came loose and it blew out the gasket.

Should be a nice figure for now, but I didnt get to drive it. Going to have to wait, and I hate waiting.

Well I finally got to test it on some dry roads this evening. Proper smile factor.

The power delivery is great, and the way it holds it all the way to the limiter is so much better than my old set up.

It's been a while since I've updated this. Been too busy enjoying the car!
However, it's gone through some changes recently so thought I would share.

First up, front strut brace. Originally for a LHD so needed a bit of modifying.

Then I wanted a better choice of tyre so opted to go back to 15's. However the std wheels wont fit over my brakes, and neither will a lot of aftermarket I soon learned after several purchases
However, I ended up finding some comps for sale and they just about fit.

I also fancied some 90's esque mods so went for a sunstrip and a laguna splitter (always liked an 88 spec bumper with them)

Thanks!
They are Heko's. I had to order ones for a mk3 escort as many companies that stock them think mk4's are mk5's.

Very true.
I just ordered up some new breather hoses as I wasn't 100% happy with the fit. I swear everytime I look at the car I see osmething else that needs doing!

Having a mare with the new wheels as well. Managed to drop one whilst installing new brakes. Had only been on the car a few weeks.

The frist time it was repaired the colour was completely wrong. So it went back with another wheel to use as colour reference.
Picked them both up today only to find they are now both the wrong colour. So they have either done the wrong wheel by mistake, or they couldnt get the colour right so just matched the mistake colour and fobbed me off.
There is tiny chalk arrow on the ok wheel that I took in which means they've probably had the tyre off when they didnt need too.. but who knows. I'll see what they say tomorrow.

Yeah I'm really picky when it comes to colour match.

Unfortunately, they said they will look at the pictures I sent them today and get back to me. Never did though. So see what they say tomorrow.

So I sacked off the company that messed up the wheels and got a friend to paint them. Decided to go for something different as I wasn't 100% on the first colour.
