hi guys, though i would show you some pics of my new project, i broke my little ka for parts,


but kept some parts of it mainly the engine and ecu!

so i could fit it in this!



been abit neglected over the past few years though!

looking at the bonnet and nose cone id say they are Tiger parts maybe? Any reason why it was built as a LHD? If you need any help with these go to www.locostbuilders.co.uk

hi craig, its a shawspeed car, used to be raced in the 750 motorclub race series, and im on that website been helpfull, and im sure if i get stuck you give me a hand living in Wakefield like me lol

I got it to this stage in febuary but then me and our lass bought are first house so the engine got sold to pay the solicitor. Just sat in the garage now feeling sorry for its self lol.

both, engines runs anyway, but wont rev so im trying to get my head round that, then i just need to tidy it all up fit the guages and get it moted

Sorry to butt in on your thread but dont suppose youve got a silver top zetec engine mount left over from your ka? I live close to wakefield so i can come over if youve got one.

The one thing i love about kit cars is the lack of bodywork and just mechanicals

Great project power to weight will be very good too

yeah its quite scary really, a frame and a seat really, and some fibreglass to slow down broken flying parts from hitting you lol, power to weight is awesome really, well from what im used to should be around 360bhp per tonne
