Rear inner arches and outer arches arrived when ive been away so il get cracking with that when i get back!! photos will follow

Right folks just bought a 2.0 zetec bottom end with focus rs pistons,steel rods and an nms stg 3 head with kent cam and vernier pulley.
The original s1 engine that is in the car will be for sale along with the chrome inlet,throttle body and air filter.
Plan is to whip out the engine and paint the whole car in imperial blue, inside,underneath and outside.
Not sure on wheels might go with frs 18,s.
Management wise im gonna go for gotech from simon at sitech racing and get him to do the mapping etc.
Opinions on the paint choice would be good along with opinions on the wheels

Got my eyes on a cts stg2 g/box and im heading down to pitlochry at the end of the month to see simon at sitech about the management/inlet manifold.
Im looking at 5 spoke comps old skool ones in white they should go well with the imperial blue that is being slapped on!!
Now that the engine is coming out and being replaced with the 2.0 zvh ive bought an engine stand to work on the new engine and im also buying a spit to do the underneath 100% correct.
Roll on monday so i can get home and get cracking armed with the good old camera lol

Yeah man its in bits lol but the big problem is getting the fucker back together!!
The anchor point is secure lol its not just bolted into a thin sheet of steel its bolted into a solid bar!!

hey dude you got your inlet yet? if not why dont you use an xr3i one with efi adaptor? save you a few quid lol, also paint the rs1600i rocker with imperial blue then polish the fins up,think that would look great

Yeah thought about it mate but want something totally different and the idea with the rocker cover i was thinking anyway but i didnt think about polishing up the fins so cheers for that mate thats another good idea for me lol

Right folks got cracking when i returned home last monday!! engine is out and on route to new owner!! the car is being stripped down to the bare shell! ive ordered 5 litres of imperial blue and heres some pix from yesterday! il take more pix tomorrow and post them up
