3 Door Cosworth Winter Project
After looking at my 3 door looking sorry for itself in the corner of the workshop for far too long decided it was time to give it a freshen up ready for a planned ring trip next year. Was planning on doing a full resto but with the "credit crunch" and an 8 day old son that will haveto wait a while. http://s424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/cossiestevo/

Bit of a problem with pics, will try again.....
A few pics before the big strip down started
Drivers side arches and sill trim removed, happy days only an inch patch to weld into the arch, inner arch and sill are like new.
Couple of pics of the new wheels that will be going on...
How it got left when it started to get too cold... more soon.

Hi, started on some parts of the body and noticed it was white underneath but everything has been painted, engine bay, all the interior under carpets, behind dash etc, and checked the colour code on the vin plate and its diamond white??? Do you know any history of the car, when or why it was painted????

Hi Steve
The guy i bought the car bought it like that and he had it for some number of years. I hpi checked it when i got it and it is down as having a clour change from white to black! i questioned with the previous owner who said that the previous owner didnt like it white and wanted it black and had it colour changed.
Otherwise it was hpi clear and had all its original panels so i had no reason to query. The car was also solid.
Hope to see more updates soon go for white best colour imo.
Cheers
Ian

Small update now christmas is a memory can get back on it again, some more stripping out done and made a small start on some of the body work.
Think my brothers got his work cut out sorting out the wiring on this one!!!
More bits to store somewhere!! Start taking a few bits off and you dont know when to stop, think this might go further than i originally planned!!!!
The rest of the glass will be coming out this week, finish taking the dash out, look at the engine for a while, take doors, bonnet and tailgate off, look at the engine some more.....

Quick update, not much done to the car the past couple of years, with family and keeping my business going through the recession car got left alone, but had a good year last year and managed to get a few parts for the car so work has started again.
All glass now out and most of the outer body stripped and down to bare metal.
Passenger door lock damage
Two aerial holes, left one has been welded and filled so will have to measure which is right
Genuine 500 spoiler i picked up last year to go with front bumper and lower rear spoiler, didnt want a 500 rep but they just look so good with these parts.
