Project Rs Focus +++ Little update+++
After having enough of playing around with my S2 for so many year I have now striped and selling it for parts.
I bought the Rs Focus on the 14th of February this with 5000 miles on the clock and one previous owner. It was initially meant to be a daily running but after a couple of track day and falling in love with it I have decide to only use it as a toy, track car and Sunday blasts.
I have loads of ideas for it and have already started playing around with.
Current spec:
K&N57i Induction kit
Bluefin
Mongoose Decat
Rouse Boost Hoses
Rouse Intake House
R888 Toyo’s
Black Wheels
Groved Front Brembo’s
DS2500 Pads
It’s making a healthy 248bhp and 280ftlb which is not big power but still shits on most things.
I have started ordering loads of new parts to get this project under way.
Parts on order:
Nortek tubular Manifold
Miltek Long system
Forge Actuator Blue spring
Forge Recirc Dump Valve
Pro Alloy Air – Air Intercooler
Powerflex Polly Bushes
Goodridge Brake Hoses
After ordering all of above I have run out of money for a couple of months but once I have saved up I will complete the spec of the car with the following:
New Turbo
Ap Racing Brakes
KW Coilovers
I haven’t got many picture of the car yet because it’s dirty as hell lol I do have some Pic’s of the work I have already started:
Rocker Cover:
Dash surround and new boost gauge:
Got to love a bit of flocking!!
Stay turned for the emotional rollercoaster of modifying cars!! lol
Cheers

The turbo is made by a guy on the Rsoc its a GT25 hybrid.
He is currently making around 370bhp on his.
I'm not sure i'm going to go so high with mine..... If i rebuild the engine and fit new rods pistons ect then i might.
Thanks for your comments guys i should have a big update later on this week as i'm planning on having a major fitting session!

Have to admit, the Nortek manifold does look a nice piece of kit. Hoping to finish mine off very soon, then on with other work!
Good stuff so far, keep the thread alive

The nortek is a mega bit of kit i've been looking around for months and to me this offers the best value for money and performance.

Best value yes, but the PD will always be on top IMO. But then again, not heard of any faults surrounding Nortek's example, nice power figures too.
Me mate who's a mechanical engineer and I are building one, but we havn't got much time these days to finish it. Will get there though, in the mean time, I can focus on other bits

Got a feeling you would be right fella they are fairly weighty + not sure they would line up on the SVT hubs.
I haven't done much work yet been waiting for the gas to turn up for the heater in the garage lol should have some good pic's and updates soon.

I believe they would but haven't heard of anybody doing it. The RS wheels fit on the SVT's.
