Default An 18 year olds S2RST.... :)

Hi there, im quite new to this forum, this is my s2 rst i bought at the premature age of 18 lol. Got it for £1200 off a guy in Ipswich, i know the color is Purple! but i bought it more for the engine and condition of the car, as the previous owner had the head rebuilt and got all the boywork and underneath of the car sorted with reciepts to prove.

The engine currently has:

Full Mongoose exhaust system
Kent Cam kit
Kent Cam powerpulley
Baileys DV26
-31 actuator
K&N Filter
Pace dual capacity intercooler
Samco Hose kit

Current dyno of 165bhp but the car has not been set up properly so im presuming i will get more out of it when i set it up. Im looking for around 200bhp when finished.

Heres some pics:

I tried finding insurance on the car and the cheapest i found was £2.5k so i looked at what it would be like when im 19 and its like £1500. So iv got till next March to get all the car sorted while its off the road.

When i got the car it had loads of shitty lights inside and neons etc so i started by ripping the dash off and sorting all the wiring out as you can see.

Then i had this crazy idea off goign rally style with the car so i stripped the carpet out and painted the inside of the car white. Lookily, the floor off the car is 100% solid as iv seen some on here that are really bad.

After being without a dash and carpet, i decided to take the interior back to its original state as i want comfort as well as speed. So im currently on the lookout for every possible bit of the interior bar the seats as i have some black leather recaros which came with it

Heres what iv sourced so far:

some new door speakers

A new mint carpet off ebay £30

Gauge holder with gauges off ebay £30:

Any comments welcome and im sure i will need all your help to get this back to how it should be!

Thanks for looking

Also here are my plans for the car:

All new bits for the interior etc
New paintjob, cant decide on colour?
RS 7 soft spokes
Rear smoked lights
Front mounted intercooler
Superchip
professional set up
Quickshift kit
Various other bits and bobs

yeah i have put smoked rears as future mods as i am planning maybe going black or white with the car although the original colour of the car is mecurey grey so i dont know wether to do that?

as for the engine, just upgrade existing engine with front mounted intercooler, chip and maybe stage 2/3 turbo although i wouldnt mind going EFI if you can get more power.

i just arent sure what you do convert it :S lol

its all gonna come down to cost, having the whole car painted aint gonna be cheap so your bargain car aint a bargain any more! leave the colour and just make it run how you want it too .at the end of the day it looks like you ve got your self a good un so keep it and do bits as you can afford to
