Dont let a bit of welding get you down mate, just get it done properly, learn from who you use to do the work for you, crack on with it and get it done for summer

ok iv have been talking to a boy about it and he said he would give me a hand fitting and welding the sills and floorso its being rebuilt again thanks for all the helpjacko if i lived near u u would be the only person doing my work i need a gas mig welder because my mig is gasless 130amp be ok for doing sills?

ok time for update
having been doing much to the shell in the last few weeks just putting the loom in new clips for it ect


got new 35mm spax springs got a set of konis from just affords
things iv got coming
sticker from engine bay
2 new wishbones(gen)
new bearings
new drop links
timing kit and water pump and oil cap
back arb bushes
thats all i can think of
a year later and the gear box is painted lol


and a few pics of engine mock up with gearbox


painted the bar for the brakes and the hubs

been busy the few weeks looking for parts and waiting on things back from been blasted.
been busy buying aswel
heres some pics

fitted arb bushs


things i painted





fitted a few more parts to the bottom endoh hada take gasket back off cause it was all cracked


timing kit,water pump.

oh got my head back aswel
just need to fit it and learn how to time it

fought i better get some thing to clean the car with it gets going lol

wel iv been busy again
fitted gearbox


new fuel filter

when the car came with this it look shitso after some filling,sanding,paint it looks better now

got gasket fitted all back together


shafts all in



oh and got my konis back ones are w**ked fronts seam good
just gotta fit my 60mm springs
them fitted


ok time to fit the bottomendstarted at 12.first thing was to get the bottom end down to cartryed about six f*cking times trying to it in no go so fought fuck it out the gearboxit was half two and still hadnt the the bottomend and gearbox bolted togther(it was raining)
wel came three and the i had the engine and box ini then put the gasket on aswel as the head,turbo,inletnever ever doing that again

il update on saturday again should have more money for parts then

that time again, just been waiting on dam parts to come,
clean seats,dash,carpet ect

some of u may have seen posts from me aasking why my frst not starting,no power to pump,wel it was the starter it self that broke,the pump just stopedso am waiting on the stater back

ok after the sump gasket shit it self i pulled it apart again out the gear box,crank seal, used payen gasket, got it all back together yday what a pain to get the gearbox back in then off with the sump super glued the gasket to it sealent on half moons, leave to dry then fitted it, time to get the new turbo on 2mins and thats it next thing drives all in bolt it all up, left it at that today i started the brake pipes asy to do but hard to make it look neat at the same time,tidy them the morrow, hope il get it running the morrow aswel, got a set of wheels matt fezs old wheelsil let the pics to the talking now






the pod nearly there,


these little dudes dont help me much

painted the hubs red

well been a will been busy with work ect not had much time for the RS but i made time, first off i got new wheels big thanks to matt fez, must of u mite have seen my post the turbo started smoking again then it was fix or break time then seen a cheap t3 for sale so fuck it il have another go, all i need then was brakes got a fiesta m/c but it was shit soescort mk5 one come up so got it cut the 20mm of it welded it cut fab the brackets a bit but then i seach and found a post where some1 said the ladden thing at the back should be removed to inprove the braking asked the boss for the lift the day to put new brake lines in got that done in the mornso i ust need to bleed them the morrow now, now when i had it on the lift the day i could see rust starting herte and there,so now am striping it next sunday am going to make a spit for doing the under side, so new bushes, new engine t3,grs intercooler rad,am going to make rose jointed bottom arms, new bearings ect ect, cant wait to get stuck inpics to follow thanks andy

wheels look great but are'nt they the wrong offset for your fiesta, i think the ones you've got have the cossie offsett which is different to the frst offset, as i've have the same wheels as u but mine are the correct offset

well had the car out for a run yday and blue smoke started coming out of the breather on boost really bad so asked sitech racing(very help full) told me its the rings thats causing it so after beening told when buying it it had new ringsffs pissed off big time, so now am going to strip the whole car down sand blast the floor repaint engine bay, inside aswel ect
so after i type this am going on ebay to look for a zetec bottom end, thanks
for the commets guyspaul yes i think they are cosworth off set they rub a bit on the front,

andy i did'nt mean anything by the comment i left above was just pointing it out, i think apart from your rubbing issue it just won't handle as well coz of the offsett issue

hoo hoo bring on the zvh
I bolting mine back together in a few weeks, just got my new triple layer sitech head gasket and sitech headbolts, very well prices and they are reusable, I would recommend them mate

on your breather setup i had a small one valve on mine this could be why your cars smoking as your sucking up a oil mist
