Zakspeed MK2 ESCORT4X4 500HP PICS ADDED NEARLY FINISHED THE EXHAUST (18/01/12)

Hi everyone, i'm new to this computer stuff so please bear with me as i show you a history of my Mk2 Escort.

I've owned it for 22 years

from being an Riviera blue 1.1 popular through to the present 4x4 Cosworth creation.

Engine made 500.5 bhp & 408 ft/lb when it was dyno'd at Field Motorsport

at 24 psi has hit( 42 psi) at times.

Current spec is : 200 block, cooper rings with six long studs, Carillo h-section rods, Cosworth forged and pocketed pistons, BD16 Inlet, BD14 Exhaust, WRC spec big port head, custom plenum and a good old T4. Running on a L8 with MSD coil pack conversion and closed loop with air to air boost control.it also has ALS&launch control

Will update the thread over the next few days to show the rest of the spec

yes its up and running now i have done 1600 miles since august but i will be doing more work on it soon redoing the fuel system dash and wiring
