gcfcoz if you've not got the confidance to paint a full car you could always paint it panel at a time. i used 2k paint & put it on quite thick then flattened it down & polished it up. i worked to the theory that if i fucked it up i'd just have to pay someone else to put it right.

jonnys2 if you have any trouble finding anyone local to do the chrome, im pretty sure aerocoat will post stuff out

been out today & got the engine sitting in place. had a bit of difficalty due to me forgetting to take the clutch aligning tool out

by the time i realized what i'd done i'd bashed it in so far i had to take the clutch back off

. i'll be back out there tomorrow fitting bits & pieces so more updates to come

attacked the airbox with a grinder to improve air flow

im pretty happy with the results so far. loads more to do yet though

nice 1 bud really coming along now and looks spot on can really start to see all the effort you have put in especially all those holes you have filled in oh and i think the coil pack bracket looks the bollox now its fitted

This is becoming a seriously nice bay. I actually like the colour scheme with green hoses, chrome coated parts and blue-detailed engine, good to see someone being (completely) different. Love the smoothed slam panel too!

just brought another saff to drive about for the summer. it needs 2 new doors due to small rust patches but thats the only rust on the car. underneath the car is MINT. the under side looks like a 3 year old car. its running stage 3 but only 17psi. does drive nice though

and the white one has been evited from the garage whilse i fix the wifes car

yeah i went in it when he 1st got it and it was almost standard the fat boi who had it done some nice work on that car and he has a focus rs
but yeah but yeah nice car ya got i was going to buy that when he 1st got it but i needed a clutch for mine at the time and he needed to do some stuff to that one but its a really nice car not mint but i bet you paid a good price for it and did he sort the water gadge out in the end probly the only problem with it when he got it i know it had a small leak but its a nice car
