Hi, quite new to PF and need some help. What power levels are generally acceptable for a crank on 0.5/0.5 grind? Going to be starting my engine build with in a few weeks and don’t want to have to replace it later on. Car is stage 3 but want to up the power to 400ish BHP max later on. I’ve heard of people running a std/std crank up to something stupid like 700 – 800BHP, so what do you think a 0.5/0.5 grind would take? Anyone out there running around 400BHP on 0.5/0.5?

i ran 350 on a yb with .75 and wasnt a problem for the 12k i saw the engine do.

OK, cheers. looks like mine will be OK for the job which is good as its already been lighten and balanced and i've also test fitted and checked the clearences with plastigauge.
