Default Cossie Resto Advice

Hi guys about to start a resto on my 4x4 saff cossie, i am having a full respray and also going to refurb the underside, any tips or advice on which way to go about this ie body then underneath or other way round would be appreciated, thanks

UNDER SIDE first mate becuse if you do any grinding welding or paniting and so on and so on you might get some on your new paint if you no wot i mean and that would upset you no end

Best way is to split it down to either front or rear section first ie jack up the back end and strip out up to the gearbox refurb then refit, then do the same at the front, then do the outside last.

The reason being a lot of people go at it like a bull at a gate, strip them down to a bare shell, end up with a mass of scabby bits and with no end in sight, give up and then ebay the lot without finishing it.

At least if you do it in sections it does not take long to see a finished area and that then spurs you on to do the next bit.
