Wenny has picked the shell up for me and is storing it for me

I'm just working through a backlog of work and degree assignments at the mo. Once that's done it's time to have a bit of a garage sale to raise some funds and then get the new shell down to me.

Plan is to use the next two months to get everything I need together and actually start building it in the new year

Well, some long overdue progress on this!

Sadly I smashed my knee to bits on Halloween last year and then was in a car crash with Fudgey just before Christmas!

Needless to say i've been out of action for the last few months. Fortunately, Wenny came to the rescue and stored the new shell for me in his unit. So, now that i've caught up with a few outstanding jobs and made some space, i'm back on this!

I whipped the engine and gearbox out last Monday and Wenny came down to collect what remained of my black car on Tuesday. We loaded up the trailer and headed up to the North East for a busy few days swapping everything needed over.

So, now for some pics!

Black shell put on the ramp:

Not too long after, Wenny and I had stripped the black shell:

The huge pile of powdercoated and freshly polybushed bits Wenny had sorted for me:

So, Beefy and Wenny set to assembling the rear end while I did the front:
