Bonus Turbo,work in progress over winter..........
Firstly i had a white RS Turbo, then a white 3i, then swapped everything around into 3i shell....then SCRAPPED the shell due to bad rust problem, also couldn't be arsed!!!!!
....then i bought a black bonus shell off AJC for £200...in process of putting running gear in, just need to spray the engine bay then were off!!!

just around 200 brake for now mate,1.6 cvh,got a stage 2 hybrid,airtec frontmount,scorpian full system,turbosystems chip,no back seats 2 recaros harnesses, cossy rear brakes need front cossy ones next,it has got konis 60mm drop,goin to be a track car, just want to have a bit of fun really

little bit of an update fitted my rear disks, rs 2000 handbrake cable,and polly bushed the complete rear,its slowly getting there,will put pics up soon,next is paint engine bay both doors ,kit front and back bumper,

why is it gay, had a rs but scrapped it then got a 3 i shell scrapped that aswel ,i want it to be a rs mate, not arsed if it aint the real thing still got turbo lump in it not that keen on the bonus look though,its just a shel not arsed really

im just thinking about when you sell it, saying its a replica...
if your going to do abit of work on it and get it all painted id have just got a genuine rs turbo shell, as it wont matter then if you have got to do work on it and get it painted as you was going to already..
rather buy a real rs turbo, then a bonus rep, get more money when selling it aswell...
sorry i just cant stand replicas, hate them with a passion tbh (unless there minty mint)
also sorry if i sounded harsh, just giving my oppinion mate..

but there are a lot of nice rs reshelled,a bonus shell is as good as a rs shell just apart from the paperwork ,ther will be nothing wrong with it when its done, wen i sell i will break it so couldnt give a fook wot its worth ,the fact is its cost me alot of money and time this is my third shell so i see no problem with the rs kit on it ,

right mate hows it goin,car is goin to be black, my 3i turbo was white, the best colour, but keepin it black, cos not havin much interia so dont want to paint the whole lot,not goin to be mint but just want something to rag about ,and track days,my dads mate is a racing instructer,so can get cheap track days, and a bit of tuition,should be good,hows yours coming along,dint you fuck turbo?

got one now just need to sort few daft things out then it needs setting up. then start on the bodywork dont know what to do yet i want it just to look real tidy and i like white so prob going white

has to be said wouln't wanna pay top dollar for a "FULL" replica even tho its more likely to be cleaner and less rusty the an orignal
but saying that i'd do it if mine was rotten and couln't be repaired there better shells if you get non sun roof, who cares about money not like there worth 10's of thousands lol

looks well,sick of people slaging off the bonus shell,ok its not worth as much as an rs,but looks exactly the same as rs when kits on,hopefully mine will look half as good as yours,then i will be happy,black is a bitch to keep clean though.what spec is your enging mate...

little update, just got some paint from colour tone, black, primer ,stopper, good quality degreeser, sooff in a min to get degreeseing then get it primed, piccys up soon

anyway back to the unit start primeing the bay degreased it this morning has come up pretty well so should get a decent finish hopefully

keep the pics comeing mate, at the end of the day who cares what it is on the log book or what it looks like it's fast and does the job
i would have a 3 door rep over a real rs turbo, can't see granny kicking it head in. just i got a 5 door for the misses
