ecscort mk4 1.8zvh *tidy up for scotch corner meet*
bought this the other week for my g/f to replace the red 5 door.
it a 1400 cvh ghia with 1800 zvh fited.
body wise has
smooth back bumper
xr3i 88 spec front
fibre glass rst kit
88spec spoiler
clear fronts
smoked rears
15 inch alloys
it geting rs front spoiler fitted
90 spec rear spoiler
mondeo si rims
black rs turbo bonnet
wants a head gasket but for £150 i couldn't turn it down
need to paint the front bumper and find a n/s front door as it is rotton

just bought some new head bolts off ebay, going to get a head gasket tomorrow, should have it up and runing asap

well today i delocked the door and welded the 2 little holes it had from where the chrome trim had been fited, flated it back and give it a coat in some ain't rust paint my dad had, then it started to rain so didn't get nothing else done,
tomorrow gonna primer it all up and black spot it make sure it all flat ready to paint up grey
also got my vents to day off dave1982rst off here cheeRS mate

car has been round a mates house geting a rear arch fited. so i been pissing about doing little bits for when it comes back.
door all ready for a coat of paint and so is spoiler, kit is off the car ready to get a bit of work done as it has a few deep marks in, found my old 3 gauge heater vent out of my cabbie thats geting painted black, all the daft bits of trim that the muppet before me painted blue are geting cleaned up and painted black, (this is pritty much the full in side) just on the look out for 4 mint 5 door door cards so i can put the 88 spec trim on to them, thats it so far will update later

got inside bits painted, inside door painted, bonnet paint, vents painted, kits sorted, just a deep mark in the fibreglass but the car isn't a show car and never will be. vents have some little bits in that was from primering but i not assed there a cunt to sand down and as i siad the car will never be a show car
would like to say thanks to jonny rs turbo who had his car at the crusie last month and give me the idea of the bonnets and vents witch i have copyed 100% but it just looks nice and breaks the black up, and for his posts of his car on here than have made me get off my ass and get the car sorted out

before any 1 says yes the back garden is a fucking shit hole full of car parts but when u have 2 garages full 3 sheds full u have to leave stuff out side lol

right update time with pics
got the door fited, kit refited, dash changed to a rs turbo 1,wiring sorted out,holes drilled for 90spec spoiler to be fited.
just waiting to pick some dor cards up and a driver door lach
arch is the wrong shade of grey and door has gone pachy, but when money gets better i gonna give the car a full house paint job

well wiped the head yesterday only toke about 25 miuntes, mayo every where but no sign of gasket damage, and the exhaust port are fucking massive, look like my dog can walk in to them. will go and get some pics in a jiffy

fited 90spec spoiler, since it is off the road i have done a few changes like get rid of all the blue sparyed **** or painted it black and started to smoth the front bumper out.
and sod paying £15 for a white heater dial kit i will just remove the black part

update this grey 1 is takeing the piss, had it runing today today and it blow a core plug in the head, :@ so had to remove the belt and cam pully to change it, couldn't get 1 from any where so had to go to northalleton to get 1 at a cost of £1 and £10 petrol, £11 for a ****ing core plug but it all sorted

well this is long over due a update, cars all set up and ready for the road, has it mot today at 3pm, fingers crossed it will pass, on the up hand for a 1.8 n/a zvh it puls like a train in every gear, roll on turboing it

paint front bumper as it is still in primer, run it about for a couple of months till my xr2 is back out and mk3 is zetec turboed then turboing it.
spend some hard coin on it to make it all mint like a £1600 paint job

been collecting bits to convert the car to efi turbo
got ofac loom, efi inlet, 3 bar map senser, coil pack and that. next to find is edis unit and ecu, and a set of good injectors
