Default My Fiesta MK4

Hey there!

I bought myself an old Fiesta MK4 Ghia 1.25 Zetec this week. I'm sooo loving that car.

The thing is, the damn thing came in really bad shape! Well, the price I paid for it wasn't that big, so I guess I got what I paid for. But I'm commited to fully restoring it. The thing only has 50000 miles, so I'm hoping it will last me for many more years!

Here's a photo of the little beast

Now, for my own questions. I need replace some parts of it that are worn or broken, as well as straighten up some really bad dents it has. Here's some questions for you to answer, if you know:

a) How do I remove the door furniture, to replace the lock?
b) Where can I pass the cables for the audio system? (trunk to radio slot)
c) How do I remove the steering wheel?
d) How do I remove the gear grip?

Thanks in advance! Let's see this little project through

then remove rivets in doorshut then take off the lock shield
b, under dash to sill covers and under them
c, undo the airbag from the back of the wheel(2x10mm) then remove then undo teh big nut/bolt pull with the ignition turned to 1
d, turn it anti clockwise

How do you take the gear knob off to change it to a sportier one?

Eh guys, this thread was long forgotten even by me...

Thought I'd leave the sad news... On the 16th September 2008, some lady with a mercedes totaled my small Fiesta... Probably one of the saddest times ever for me

This was probably one of the funniest cars I ever drove, and would have no problem recommending it to anyone wanting a car... It was a really fun ride!

At this point I drive a Fiat Punto, just like I did before I owned the Fiesta... It's not as confortable, but it's a bit more sportier!
