jonnys series2 rs turbo breaking just cant be arsed anymore!
well thought i would start a new thread for the old girl
iv had this since last year n totally love it, costing me much moneyz lol
so here's some pic what iv done
comments welcome
3weeks after buying it, just 2days before going on holliday this happened to number 2 and 3
so a very good mate of mine @ imperial racing rebuilt it 4 me
i told he to take pic's but.... he didnt!
then!!!!!
high speed and
bonnet came up
ooooooooooooooops
so got a bonnet off me mate but it was blue! i had some black paint off when i painted me wheels so it ended up black!
here are some other pic what i have done
new lighting
new gearbox mounts
got these last week
my roof clock broke so bought this
so from this
to this
had to make new board for it and convert the right hand button
engine looks abit shit and dirty
so all coming back out in 2weeks for painting new ported head, cam, new clutch etc

mate must say your car is mint, love the black bonnet on grey paint work, just how i was gonna do the g/f and must say it realy does look the part.

got my head done
ported and polished
new valves
new guilds
3 angled valve seats
new valve stem oil seals
new piper valve spings
new exhaust studs and nuts
not in the pics but..........
new piper bp 285 t2 cam
new cam seal
new lifters

i like the turbo timer idea i have the same timer but cos of my alarm it burned out my fuel pump relay lol
i not long put mt lights back to standard this mota is a dead ringer for mine lol

been bussy again 2day engine cleaned and painted
cosworth oil pressure switch on and uprated spring i got from oddkidd ages ago now on
head on
piper vernior pully
timed up
new clutch
engine back in
new clutch
gearbox back in
gearbox mounts on
exhaust manifold painted

car looks awesome with the black bonnet and the ambers on.
what power are u expecting with the new engine?
should bring it to the tyne &wear rs owners meet in 2 weeks if u got it up and running.

turbo timer fitted and working
dash back in
bonnet off to straighten the skuttle pannel abit after the bonnet came up
new stickers
new bonnet vents as 1 was fucked

just had it up any running
its very quiet to what it used to be
run up 2 temp, cooling fans on a right time
turbo timer working
just hoovered the carpet
and now pissing down again!
so got the kettle on!
