Hi First a little about ‘us’. I’m David and with a few friends we ‘are’ streetperformance, and we are a company that tunes old- & newskool Fords, and I’m a Diesellover. Our demo car started out as a Family Cruizer But with just over 2 yrs it already had a hard life on track (9.25lap @ Nordschleife), sprints (6.7sec 0-60 & 15.2sec ¼ mile) and fast road use. Specs : 2198cc Common Rail Turbo Diesel 150Hp @ 3500rpm (crank) 360Nm @ 1800rpm (400Nm in overboost) @ rolling road : 144Wheel Hp @ 3100rpm 418Nm @ 2200rpm After a live remap : 171Wheel Hp @ 3500rpm 473Nm @ 2300rpm After upgrade hybrid turbo gt17/21v : 183Wheel Hp @ 3600rpm 500Nm @ 2100rpm We did install a big FMIC, good for 400Hp. We bought it back from them and started repairing it. I have already fitted a decat and larger front mount intercooler, the car has been remapped before these 2 mods were fitted butr im looking for more power still.

Since then the car has a DS map, and is going to be converted to a Track Toy (see other Projekt RAT Drifter)

Saw a lot of AWESOME Cars from here, but the owners were harder to find .
My feet weighed 2 tons after the tour

Really pleased about the sprint, did a 6.23 0-60 with a fantastic start, my best so far (did a 6.34 on g-tech before).

What a great car
+3000miles in 2 weeks (Italy last week, UK this week ) fully loaded with 4 people & then still do such a great 0-60

This setup cost about :
-300£ IC
-400£ for Decat & SS Exhaust Proto
-400£ for reworked Turbo (360° bearing & larger compressorwheel)
-600£ for a lot of mapping sessions

impressive! is the standard clutch coping? i have a 2.0 tdci focus that im interested in following a similar route with it already has a remap to 170bhp at the flywheel but i would love to know what would be required to get this kind of power. does the mondeo have dpf? ive heard this will limit what i can do

That is with standard clutch up to 60k (2 flywheels & clutches) and from then on single flywheel & clutch from Transit

Mondeo doesn't have DPF, not even a Cat & still passes MOT

Car was Rolling roaded today, results were :twisted:
Mods to car :
-STOCK turbo
-Decat
-Free Flow exhaust
-Airtec IC
-Pipercross panelfilter
-Custom mapping Alientech (limited on torque for better pull thru revs, but only mapped to 3.3k rpm because it was my first map ever made myself & didn't know what to expect, car has almost no smoke so there is much more left in there)
Like u can see on scan it doesn't have much more peak torque (on purpose) but where map peaks it has 70Nm more over stock
Think for 1st map ever without knowing what results would be this is very good start, especially when u know my other car with bigger turbo did 10hp less with LOTS of smoke (mapped by "best" in Belgium )
Also flashed car back to stock , those results are very good to, so mods work well on stock car to(IC, Decat & Free Flow & panelfilter)



After Rolling Road i took care of the map +3.3k rpm so it pulls now like a tomahawk, people who drive along say it goes in revs & has torque like a V8 petrol car
ST220 + specs with diesel fuel economy & torque
&then they say that Euro4 is not tunable
Also did testing with completely stock 2.2 mondeo, IAT under load went to 55-60° with outside temps of 8° (makes u wonder what a hot summmer will do)
With this car on these specs they never go above 15° with same outside temps
So again proven that GOOD tuned car has a lot less stress on it over stock

Wheel power is 189 btw

today a 3.0 litre E36 M3 wanted to play and got azzraped
we pulled out of traffic ( he on my tail after i overtaking him) from 40-130mph and i took 10 car lengths on him
hope he ate his steering wheel when seeing my smoke.

-STOCK exhaust + Aftermarket DPF
-Airtec IC

As seen on scan (click on it for better view) without map same results (174bhp) as other car (so exhaust & DPF are struggling) :shock:
After mapping nice result (also 1st try with Euro3 & bigger turbo), in future it will get a Free Flow exhaust (with DPF) and hope te see some extra horsies then to. :P
On peak Torque we see 100Nm extra, peak Hp is 50 extra (over a stock car WITH mods) :twisted:

Mk1 Mondeo TD 200k on the clock (get's trashed like i've stolen it every day), this engine will be used for overhauling into Fez TD, this will get 2.2TDCi conversion in 2011 (200kg lighter then Mk3 Mondeo)
-->With only 90hp i did same lap times with it as Fiesta ST & Puma 1.7 on Zolder track

Orion Mk1 1.6d 120k on the clock, girlfriends uses this till Fez will be ready. This will become 1.6VGT TD in 2011
