South Africa born & bred. I am not too sure of the width of the rear rims, will ask the next time I am at my m8's place. For any of you that like old school fords I have another interesting topic on Turbosport about a Zakspeed Grp 5 Mk2 Escort also standing at my m8's place. Check it out

I've not long acquired a 4wd cossie modified shell with all the RS1700T body work.

It's got a weld in cage already in-situ. All I need to do now is finish the shell and find all the hardware!!!

I hope to use it in sprints and hillclimbs - not sure it fits into any of the categories particularly well - but what the hell?

I'm not likely to get going on it this year until the Summer at least, so I need to see some more progress on this one to keep me motivated!

There where 23 cars built in total most scrapped and the engines re-engineered for the RS200 Group B car and 5 made it back to the UK.

Cumbrian driver Simon Nutter had the one above and sold it for around 60k to a guy in Germany.

Malcolms car is beleived to be the ex Brian Bell car which Brian was going to use as a rally car but it was in such good condition that it was left as a road car.
Gordon Spooner Engineering restored a couple and one went to the USA
