A proper RS1700T is worth tens of thousands, but it would as it has absolutley nothing in common with other Mk3 escorts, not even much of the bare shell is anything like the same.

Well I will be going to my m8 again and take some more pics of the car along with the wheels to be used, they are also the genuine rally wheels that were to be used on the car. Sadly my m8's not really interessted at this stage to sell off the parts individually but rather as a whole lump sum with the car once completed. Think about the lucky owner of this car, he would have enough spares to build 2-3 more replicas should anything happen to the current one.

I am truly stunned, what an absolute piece of art! The engine must be a very early BDT, judging by the looks of the intake as well as the engine volume. The later models had intakes with the entrance on the plenum centered as well as the engine volume being 1.8 liters up to 2 liters on the BDT-E. Must have one of those engines someday...

That has got to be one off the best cars that ford never made,and one of the best engines, hard to belive that it is about 30 years old and you can get 600+bhp from them.
Its a great shame that it never went on the rally scene but with teams like Audi and there 4wd Quattro it seamed that was the way forward.........4WD
