The bumper is something I'm compromising with.
My other bumper looks like this.
Only problem is the intercooler sat quite far forward to cover the lower panel, meaning the fans had little effect being on the rad as it was too far away and I couldn't move the rad forward becuase of the headlight panel and cooler pipework.
I also Didn't want the fans on the rad as I like the front mount look. If I moved the intercoller back to sit flush with the rad then you can see the lower panel which although painted just looks crap.
Plus I dont want the car too look too smilar to Twins.

I`ve connected everything as it should be but it still doesn`t run properly.
It`s hot sunny days like this that make me think fuck it, I want the car on the road I don`t care how much it costs.

Yeah mines been off the road for 6 months this week Luckly I have a friend who has a Transit Transporter. As I`m 21 I can`t tow a trailor. But you can rent them for about Ł75 a day.

Ha ha bastard won't drive it down. I have to do that. 350 mile round trip. I hope he can do it on a drive in drive out basis. Don't want to have to go back

I'm not driving to Bolton as well!
Got my rear seat fitted today.
Took the base plates off the Cossie foams.
Cut out the section that was catching the inner wing section and where the catch would need to go.
Cut the lock out of the ERST seat backs.
Marked up where it needed to line up and tack welded it.
Then welded it up and strengthened the rear
One pin needed to be exteneded to pull the foam into the back and a section of foam needed to be cut out for the lock to sit in.
And all fitted up
The other side is also finished, but by the time I finished it, it was too dark to photograph as this phone doesn't have a camera flash
I'm going to cover the backs in carpet so you wont see any of the welding. Should have them 100% finished on Wednesday.

It wasn't too bad. The actual seats themselfs (foams and cloth) are slightly too big for the car so crease slightly in the corners but I can live with that.
The hardest part was getting the locks in the right place so both side sat at the same hight, were set far enough in so it didnt twist and pull them making them not level with each other etc. Took all day, 10-2 4-7 to get it right.

It's nice not having to worry about getting the engine running and just cracking on with the rest of the car for a few weeks. IDEA: I've also got an Escos centre console from my old Cossie rep. Wonder if that would fit.

With such nice weather today, and my dad moaning the barn was a shit hole me and my brother desided to take our cars out side, wash them down and have a tidy up.
If only it bloody ran and was on the road I'd be happy!
Then we got bored so did some more work on our STI wagon replica based on my brothers 2.0 GL. Looks ok for something we made out of spares we had lying around
All tucked up.

Another late one up the barn, but glad I went.
The dash is fitted along with my RS Accessory steering wheel.
I've also got hold of some standard black dials as I hate white dials
And the start of my Stack gauge addiction has started.
Boost, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure to start with. Got a twin gauge surround on its way from Twins to put 2 of them in.
Then covered the one seat back with carpet.
The other side needs another hole drilling to pull the foam in more before I can cover it.
Then I got cracking with the enigne.
I wired it all up and it all seems to be working
I couldn't start it as it was late but I've got fuel, spark, and its turning over by key so fingers crossed for tomorrow!
