Painted and fitted rest of the parts
Hockey sticks, front splitter, mirrors etc.

Looking like a car again:

Hosed it off, as it has collected lots of dust during the last months in the garage:

Fitted hub-adaptors.. And noticed that my brakes looks like crap

So some shiney AP`s are on the "too buy" list

First wheel on

And then..

The thing about the Swiss version of the whaletail had something to do with traffic safety.

If I recall correctly the whale tail was originally not allowed on Cosworths sold in Switzerland. That is why a lot of the Escort Cosworths imported from Switzerland didn't use to have the whale tail. I guess the SUHE addition to the whale tail was a modification that made the whale tail road legal in Switzerland.

The reasoning was (I think) that pedestrians could get caught (or maybe sliced???) by the whale tail due to the opening between the rear window and the whale tail. Maybe they where worried about pedestrians being run over, thrown clear of/over the car and then being seriously injured by hitting the "sharp" edges of the open area on the whale tail??!!

The latest pics were taken after me and fiesta_xr2i polished the car.

Havent done much too the car latley, as I`m currently working on my Fiesta and getting that ready for the winter.
