just a small update, been chasing down top quality rod ends for the suspension joints, after a few weeks of research i am now a fully qualified rod ends god !
so i bought a few

these buggers are the business, 5/8 x 3/4 with kevlar inserts

rated to a tensile strength of over 40,000lb, which is nearly what they cost some to think of it

i do have some more WRC / Group a exotica but no pics yet.

i cant tell you how much it is mark as ive had the whole shell done in the price, but it looks the business and has alot of differances from the works rear cradle - and hopefully for the better. i will tell you when ive got it back and built up if it works as good as it looks.
I think this is the 1st escort with the world style rear end andy has done, so now its been seen maybe a few more can be done abit easier. Have a chat with Andy, im sure he will do you a good deal man.

p.s its the WRC hubs that are the big money with the pukka joints on them.

i totally agree which is what we have done, also the geometry is in such a way now that even with the car being a pretty wide track the actual changes upon bump and rebound will be so little due to such a more modern designed setup, something the WRC cradle can suffer with if not built/copied/set up correctly
