Hi again peoples this is my running project and everyday vehicle at the moment so i thought i would let you all have a look.
These are the before pics with the standard wheels,

And these are the after pics with the 4x4 cosworth wheels

I have a few more things planned for it yet but as you can see it is a work in progress.

Hi again everyone, I just thought I would update you on things with the escort so here goes.
Things that i've bought for it recently are as follows,

Series 1 arches and sideskirts (which need to be modified to fit),
RS1600i boot spoiler (which needs to be modified to fit),
2.0 zetec ( I have been given which i'm rebuilding),
Tubular manifold (for turbo),
Focus rs Turbo,
Rover turbo inlet manifold and adaptor plate,
XE LET Pistons,
3" scorpion exhaust.
And thats just about it for the moment (pictures will be added soon)

Just thought I would add a couple of pics of progress.
Here is the escort with the series 1 RS turbo arches and sideskirts and the RS1600i rear spoiler.

The front bumper needs a little work but that will get done when the infill strips get smoothed over and the car gets painted.

Hi mate, I think to start with I am just gona respray the bonnet the same colour as the top of the car and and spray the kit to match the lower section and the bumpers.
In the long term though I am going to put it back to its origional colour which is white as I have found out it is a very rare all white cabriolet of which there were only 300 made.

No worries mate, everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Its just a shame that yours is wrong

The idea behind the badboy bonnet is to make it look a bit tougher at the front as it does look rather tough from the side with the series 1 kit and the rs1600i boot spoiler.

Also just got my replacement engine which is getting a few mods before it gets installed in my car.

got a few other bits and pieces for it too so will keep the updates coming.

I have to agree... Lose the bad boyeeeeee bonnet but also the Rs1600i boot spoiler, it wasn't made for a cabbie and doesn't suit the mk4 styling.

Otherwise.... Not looking to bad.

Hey up mate, I have allways fancied a mk4 cabi with a badboy bonnet (yes I know very 90's but I like them) and once the RS spoiler is modded to suit and painted (the whole car back to white) it will look a whole lot better than it does at the moment.

I never worry about the haters to be fair, too mature for that lol.

It is actualy a xs power manifold that I bought off ebay cheap.

As for the decomp plate I may end up selling it and fitting a set of calibra turbo pistons instead, that all depends on the guy with the calibra engine.

Cheers mate, I have always liked the badboy look on the escort and I have not seen too many recently so it will be staying.

Hi mate, I've put things on hold until the new year although I am still getting bits and pieces together when they come up cheap.

Hi everyone, it's update time again.
I have got more or less everything I want to upgrade on my escort now in readiness for the zetec turbo build so over the next month or so the car will be getting built up.
Keep you up to date as things progress, please be patient though as I have 3 other vehicles to get done too.
