Default My Escort Turbo build - flocked dash update

Just bought this clean, straight and rotfree XR3i.

Have been looking for something suitable to build a big power Ford for sometime, something I can bring to the Ford shows this year instead of my Evo 6 which may (and does) get frowned upon.

Anyway, ive taken a few quick pics after a clean today, will be taken into work next week (if Chris agrees) so I can make a start with the build.

Ultimately, this is the car that will have Chris's turbo'd, Supercharged 1900 CVH from his Fiesta Supersport as he's currently building a super spec zetec at the moment running a GT30 instead of the current turbo/supercharger setup - so should, in theory be over 300hp, I have a nitrous kit standing by too.

Will update with a few pics soon - have just a 'new' 90 spec interior I got today, dont think its ever been sat on.

Yeah, they are the 16" version - actually if someone wants them ill swap them for a set of standard rs turbo wheels and tyres?

sorry, just noticed I was logged in as Chris

What tire size are they? Do they have enough clearance or if it's lowered more, do they hit the wheel arches??

The car is running AVO coilovers, could be lowered more with no real problems - dont know tyre size but will find out later.

Okay, some pics of my new flocked dash and as new Recaro's.

Ive just paid a fair amount for a complete interior but think it was worth it to get everything as new?

Car is coming to the workshop tomorrow to start on the wiring and getting those nasty fookin tints off it

oh, and those angle eye headlights are being binned too

A mate of mine had it done and I got it for pound coins

Dont know where he got it done though but I do know Central Blast Cleaning do them for around Ł150 - you can have different colours too - thinking about a blue flocked dash for my Evo too
