Hey folks,
after nearly 5 years of construction, the car is finished and now street legal. I needed 2 attemps at the TÜV but finally I managed to bring the car on road
Certainly, there are still some small things to do, but right now I can take the car whenever I want and drive around.... and it makes alot of fun
Last weekend I was on a big Ford Event near Berlin and I was voted second at show and shine in the class Escort MK3/MK4... That's a nice beginning...
Even the 1/8 mile race was very cool...
Some pics (thanx alot to Daniel!!!!!)

Thanx guys
This is not only a show and shine car... whenever the weather is good, I will drive around... I haven't built the car to keep it in the garage...
My plans are to sort out the little problems... The engine is loosing a little bit of oil, some wiring, etc... Then I will rebuild my straight cut gearbox and that's it... maybe in 1 or 2 years I will try to build up a 4xx engine... we will see...
@Marco... I will be there in Venlo

I am running a Oppliger straight cut gear box... Just the 5th gear is semi straight... For prices ask Romain Oppliger here in the forum
At the moment I am rebuilding the gearbox due to some small problems and modifications... But nothing serious... I hpe I can put it back in the car soon... The diffs are stock cosworth 3.62... I just reinforced the front diff with a strenghtening plate... I will try this setup.... Later on I will maybe try some 3.92 diffs...

Thanx again guys... I am very happy that you like the build...
Me and my mate Jan made some new pics of our cars and here is the result...
Ah... yes... just one more thing:
I launched on facebook a site of the MK3 Cossi... It is more "live" and tells more in realtime about the current work on the car, videos, reports of meetings, etc...
Would be nice if you "like" and share it
