So this weekend I weld in the Sierra Cosworth bonnet wents in the MK3... Looks minty mint

I hope that Thursday the TÜV engeneer will come... if not I will continue to work on the doors...

What do you guys think:
Should I take out the locks (an weld the holes) in both doors and the hatch? I'm not sure what to do... Looks maybe too clean... comments welcome...

Yeah Wenny, I think I will be finished by the end of this year... and be sure... I will come over to England... I have never been on an event there and I heard so much of your freaking events... I'm quite cinfident that we will sit together and drink a glas of beer

@Mr. Ford: Roermond is really not far... And in this area we have also some cool events... so the chance to see the car life is quite high...

But... let me first finish the car... There is still so much do to...

Cyril, lookin really good. I was rebuilding the bonnet few weeks ago too Im sad that I havent a cossie power. Decent car with hardcore power is better choice then hardcore car with no power. So the plan to build the car to the end of the year sounds good. Im working on mine for 3,5 year and I think that Its neverending. Good luck with no troubles.

Hi peepz...

had some other stuff to do... and it took quite alot of time till the TÜV engeneer was in my workshop.

I will continue to work on it the following days and I think I will start to weld in the floor in 1 or 2 weeks.

So just be patient

Hey peepz,

sorry for being absent the last weeks. I had some other things to do.

Last weekend I started to put in the rear beam. It's tricky, but it looks good. I have to notch a little bit more so that I can move the beam 5cm upwards. Then it will fit perfectly.

Next weekend I will be on holiday for 14 days, so next update will be in 3 weeks...

Good sleep my lovely little Escort

back again from holidays with plenty of energy

The rear axle is at it's final position. Looks pretty good.

The shell was centered on the Sierra floor pan and I started with finetuning the sheets so that both parts fits each together. The rear and the middle part of the floor pan are finished. Just the front part needs some modifications before I can start with the welding session...

So guys... next update soon to come...

Cheers

Cyril
