It looks mint on that picture when you have put the wheels on.I like the grill too,i take it its just a S1 grill with the slats cut out.

Yeah it looked not bad considering it only had crap taken off it and a very minor tart up

The grille is from a S1/Orion Mk1.... I cut out the centre bar, smoothed the holes, the swage line around the perimeter and added some mesh.

Just was donated a mint S1 rim to replace the bent one tonight...... but 15" black steels would be so cool! Hmmmm, decisions decisions......

it doesnt look the best at the mo dude, think its gone beyond rat look, its now SKIP look.

Been too busy killing 2 clutches and a box in the Estate.... plus I wrecked the top end of the Capri's engine at the weekend. And of course I have a needy old Alfa too (which shattered a brake disc last week!).

This one's time will come!

Bit of a change of plan as in terms of styling it's going to be XR3i all the way now, but with super hot wheels (as yet undecided, feel free to give me ideas!). Also got myself a 6 speed box, as I got sick of killing weedy BC boxes in my 160 odd brake Estate

Also got myself a set of very tasty Gaz Gold coilovers....

And here's the soon to be recipient of these goodies.....

And unlike so many ambitious long term projects this one will never be abandoned and broke for spares!
