Mate this thing is the bollox.
I never thought I would see the day that I would actually like a KA but this has truly changed my feelings about them, Is it possible to fall in love with a car (KA) ? I believe so!!!!!

Well glad to see some updates. and glad its making progression. the fiesta dash looks sweet did it take much messing/fabrication to fit? or did it just fit in anyway lol. Also the fabrication for the tunnel n engine bay looks sweet as. keep the updates coming mate.

Central Day 2009 Update
After speaking to Neil @ Fastford and with Adrenaline being only 6 miles away, it was decided to display the Ka at Santa Pod to show people where the project was and let them see it up close.
So as usual the alarm clock went off at 0330 A quick 40 mile drive in the trusty vectra to meet my mate at Exeter and then we continued on in his Thurlby 888 Astra CDTi. Awesome car when in Sport mode with over 200bhp http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/vauxhall-mig-news/255400-thurlby-888-astra-cdti-200bhp.html
Got to Adrenaline about 0730 and loaded the Ka onto the trailer. Due to being let down by the rose joint supplier Danny was unable to get the rear end finished in time
At Adrenaline
Arrived at Santa Pod about 0830 and off loaded car at Fastford stand. Placed it next to new Focus RS.
On Fastford stand
Danny and the boys have done a lot more work since the last update but theres still more to do
False floor with pedal box
Rear diff carrier
Safety Cage progressing well and tied into diff carrier mountings and strut tops
AiM dash display mounted in the MK6 Fiesta dash which fitted with very little hassle.
Front view
How about 18 MOs
Had a good day and met up with the usual crowd and loads of new peeps.
Cheers to Neil and Dan for having an unfinished project on the stand
Thanks to everyone who said hello.
I even enjoyed the drag action and was good to see Wenny, Paul R and AJC running. Pity Wenny couldnt squeeze into the 10s
Left Dannys about 1800 after dropping Ka back, and finally got home about 2245
My quote of the day came from the Ford employee who drove the Focus RS there when i asked him about the Ka arches as they are only held on with plastic clips
Richie: Do you know what speed these arches have been tested to ?
Ford bloke: How fast do you want to go ?
Richie: Look in the front
Ford bloke: Fuckin hell !!! (Shaking his head)

Nice to see a floor mount pedal box. What make is that one and where do you plan to mount the cylinders? On the unit itself or in the bulkhead?
Is the false floor there purely for ease of mounting the pedal box or is there another reason?
It's coming along nicely now though!

False floor made it easier to fit at right height as would of been too much work needed to bulkhead to fit normal style pedal box.
Its coming along quicker now
Thanks again Neil Great day with great weather and some top mates

Thanks Wenny
Pity you couldn't sneak into the 10s
Cheers Kev. Was good to see you and your bro again, even if that talk of V8s is making me have bad thoughts for the Series 1

So best you get yours finished whislt i'm away

Bet this would have been finished buy now if you didn't spend so much time playing with seamen... yes I know, an old and easy joke
Awesome project though dude, didn't know you even had it...lol. Should be a bit of an animal when done
Dunno where you keep your cars though...'living on the sea' and all
