Nice one Richie, been following this from a while back. What way did you (or Andy?) go about blanking the rear wiper hole in the tail gate? I was thinking to weld a plate on but I have seen this method end up with the plate/welds flexing and the filler cracking later down the road.

Keep up the good work and it's MONDAY GET THE PICS UP ASAP!

Niether of us did tailgate, the bodyshop did that

The usual rot around the hole was cut out/ground away and then a small piece was carefully welded in and filled over. If done properly you'll have no problem.

I'm working away so only one pic my friend kindly took and emailed me
