The intention is for it to be a proper sleeper which is the main reason for going rwd. The DJM versions use the Evo gearbox and transfer box with the engine mounted transverse like an Evo. I want the engine in the classic in line configuration, which would mean a bonnet bulge to rival B9KOS' rear spoiler if the engine was mounted to allow the front driveshafts to line up. There will be no tiger stripes or comedy spoilers and certainly no colourful wheels The only give away externally will be the 'Ford Racing' arches (staying black), privacy glass (to hide the roll cage) and the fact that its will mainly be going sideways

The handling is something that has been thought about alot with the wheel base being approx 6 inches shorter than a Escort/Focos conversion. The reduction in track should help to make it more balanced


The yellow SVM was powered by a transverse Zetec turbo, a Puma front end and ran on 19 centrelocks

and got rote off by its new owner years ago i know as i now have escort cosworth clocks fitted to my dash

Don't think the SVM one was the base for the K9 kit,think the kit came first.

nope car was built first they used it to make kit it made by mc rallying i have same kit fitted to mine except i didnt use the fog lights as i use mine for cooling now mine was fitted with extra vents to make it different

Can it be made clear that ADRENALINE RACE & PERFORMANCE will NOT be making a "badBOy" bonnet OR fitting a fibreglass snow plough as a bumper. This will be a small balanced car thats being build to perform on track and not halfords car park.

Dan it was vaccumed only last week, its a class matt, many times I have set fire to it whilst laying on it welding.
