1.8 zetec 105bhp flywheel and rst 4-padel clutch, just bolts straight on....easy peezy!

yeah will be great to finaly take it for a spin........

Well just back from a road trip to pick up my car, its raining and not realy good for going for a drive or pics... But seems to rev well, but not much mid-range torque but si will sort this with a bit more mapping in the future.....

Well didnt make it to knockhill today, burst a water hose not far from my house so turned back, and when trying to start it, it was spitting back and flames were coming out of the inlet at the seem where it joins together, which has obviously separated when back-firing. So will be repairing that tomorrow and re-fitting inlet. But looks like the ign timing is wrong, so that will have to be looked at..............

well little up-date, takin it back to simon on saturday to get the vvt working to help with mid-range torque and a little map tweeking.....
And also got my quick-rack and poly bushes, so fitted the rack last nite and i`ll wait till i get my s1 anti-roll bar to fit the rest.... sum pics for uze....

And how it sits the now....

What management are you using? i'm considering this conversion for my mk3 but i was going to just use the std ford loom and ecu?

I`m using Gotech MFI PRO, because using the standard loom and ecu is alot of hassle, been told it uses a black-oak system where it needs the whole car loom to work properly, otherwise it will just give you lots of fault codes and wont run.....

Well its almost finished mapping, spoke to si and says vvt is working and kicking in at 5k and pulls well and cold-start map has had a tweek aswel, picking up fri lunch time!!!!
Then thats just the begining of more mods.....induction piping, front suspension, gearlinkage, poss change of g-box etc.....

Well had it bk for a few days now and bn out n bout and the vvt is mental, what a diff it makes when it hits 5k and pulls all the way to 8k!
Just a little pic of the bay with new piping, pressure reg and temp sender...

Well thinking of going down the bike throttle body route, for more bhp.....
