It wasnt a desicion taken lightly mate and I know many people get to the end of a project and run out of patience etc but thats not why I have chosen not to finish it as I prooved I have the paitience of a saint lol

At this point mate as said its is other personal reasons and makes sence no matter how much it may hurt me to break the car at this point in time.

My time and energy is needed some where else now and it's more imortant than finishing this car.

Thanks Glen, no not really bad mate but my time and efforts are needed else where for the forseabe future mate.

The car will still be getting painted next month to finish the shel and then will be getting locked away and stored for a nother day maybe as I have put to much blood sweat and tears into that shell to get rid and so havce many of my friends.

gutted to see this kev followed this for a long time now was really something out of the norm. Hope everything is ok and nice to see the shell being kept other parts are always replacable. Kev is sporting fords still running? Hope it is as it seemed like a good club .

cheers bud, yer keeping the shell rolling and tbh most the parts as couldnt be arsed breaking in the end

sold a few things tho, bodies, ecu and dry sump system but all replacable with other parts in the future

painted it this week














will put up more pics when done

Had a bit of bad luck also when went to get rear bumper it has got a massive crack from storage so need another and also on the boot, removed the plastic lock strip to find it was rusty undernieth, rust has gone strate through so need a new boot

afer one from an escort poverty spec with no rear spoiler if any one knows of one?

Popped up lock this morning with me Mrs as she wanted to see in the metal what all the time has been spent doing lol

she loved it, I removed the drivers door paper so she could see inside and gave me a chance to see both colours together and it's looks a great contrast

also tested the wheels next to the car and I was chuffed with how they look also, let me know what ya think...

yer I've always liked um and thought they'd look good on the car when done

decided to use the Colin McRay OZ's on Sams Grp Shell n I'll get some comps etc in the future for this aswell

been back up today to check everything over and finish it off to where we can for now with out a boot and a bumper for the back

I painted the floor and is all black now




and then test fitted all the pannels onto the shell aswell as mirrors etc








excuse the cull looking n/s bonnet as it has some over spray on it that wil soon cut back when I start with the 2000 grit wet an dry also will mop then with G3.

can not believe it's nearly completely painted!!!

You have asked and I have told you pmsl also sent you pictures?

if you remember Jimbo theres threaded bar set up revited to the mirror casing that pulls it onto the door

I am going to be getting rid of this eventualy and stickoflexing the mirror to the door bud

This is why my hands are now bleeding!! two days of rubbing back with 2000 grit wet and dry

Rubbed back





with the water on it





relection on it even though its cover in crap, you can imagine how nice it's going to polish up when done



rinsed off







To get it rolling next and up to me mate Kevs for polishing

soaking wet skin for two days rubbing down metal, I think its a million paper cuts
