few pics of how car stands now, slowly coming along but having starter at the back has messed up old breather system hoses and needs bit of re-wiring etc. now fitted the black top baffled sump set up too and awaiting mate to tig the manifold as relocating the turbo

got home early from work today so got a bit of time to pop up garge and re run power cable from alternator, around front panel, inside the chassis rail round to the back of box to starter, now just to run the switch cable for the starter ans starter is all complete. Managed to get the breather plumbed in too so slowly getting closer but really needing exhaust manifold back now .

hope so, would be a good lil race lol, just need ŁŁŁ now for shafts, exhaust, m.o.t and insurance but back working so shouldnt be too ling hopefully, really want it there though, only thing im looking at with no enthusiasm is bleeding clutch and brakes lol

After a long time with the escort gathering cob webs and smothered in dust and dirt in the garage i finally decided to get something done again, gave it a wash then a nice custom 3" system made and manifold altered.

Escort cleaned and on 'A' frame to go for exhaust

manifold altered to fit turbo in as was failing on gearbox mount

new system with 4" scorpion tail piece

more bad luck came my way friday evening when the garage door decided to jump on the bonnet ruining it . now got a new bonnet and louvres will be next and aero catches to give it a harder look

well the times came where ive finally had enough of working on the car so has now gone to Clarke5700 for final bits to be done and finished as sick to my back teeth of working on the car which is why its been so long with nothing done as bored of working on motors now and just want to enjoy them lol. so hopefully clarke will keep this updated as and when there are updates.

im norm ok but this is about the 3rd time around ive had to do the car now and can no longer be bothered to do it lol. decided to buy a new car i can have fun in and little work needed other than servicing

well just went and picked up my quiafe diff for the getrag box and dropped that off to clarke so all parts are now collected now so is as and when time is available to work on it clarke will do the business

right car is still being done @ clarkes (well @ clarkes) lol. but ive started getting enthusiasm for it again after battlesbridge and ford fair. Plans have now changed for the car after my mates having an accident and realising the importance of being well held in a seat and safe within a cage im now selling my 6 point to get a full weld in proper cage when money permits. ive sold my bucket seats to get some proper wrap around ones and got 6 point harnesses again. The biggest update is.........
ive now got an RS1700t tailgate to go on it , prob going to get the rear wing done in carbon to really set it off

things to hopefully come will be louvered bonnet, flared fibreglass wings, 1600i front splitter (new door as damaged )

hopefully, want to do something with the front arches to cover the wheels but dont know what, i think the 1700t arches look a bit chavvy with kit + want to keep it looking fairly origional tbh, so thinking of flaring them so isnt too noticable?
