Default Ford Fiesta RS (project 2) *SOLD*

A while ago (say ten years) I got the oppertunity to be co-driver in a Fiesta RS Turbo, since that day I always wanted one. Luckily I stumbled accross one while searching a new engine for my Ka. The guy owning it had started stripping it to get it restored but had not been working on it for almost a year and was willing to sell it to me for very little.

This is what it looked like before the guy started stripping it:

And how it looked like when I picked it up:

I had a few RS2000 rims laying around so fitted them to see how it would look like:

Just started to strip it even further to see how much work would be involved in restoring it and it looked quite good at first but when I removed the moist carpet (should have known) there was almost no floor left. Well everything can be fixed judging by a few projects I have seen on here.

Only needed a couple of new doors, boothlit and rearlights but ended up with a whole 1.1 fiesta donor car which is in mint condition (at least for a 16 year old Ford ):

After stripping a bit it gave me good hope for the future:

Ofcourse there is a bit of rust on it but thats nothing to worry about:

So in the end this will be a nice original looking Fiesta RS Turbo with a few minor adjustments to suit my personal taste:

It got sold for a very good price

The buyer has the option to take the donor car aswell. I think he has e very good deal if he takes both

I'm very happy with the new car which needs a bit of work but most of it is cosmetic
