Default A few pics of the MR2 turbo powered Yaris we're building

Just took these at the bodyshop yesterday.
It's off having the 300+bhp engine slotted in the rear now... (and the rear suspension fitted!)

pretty sure it weighs a lot less than standard, and is over 300bhp and RWD, so yeah, it will be faster...

those "chavvy" fibreglass bits, which the only significant bits is the arches really, are actually Mk1 Escort rally bubble arches, needed to cover the mega wide wheels and tyres, yeah, mega chavvy.

I would advise you to get an independant engineers report on the car before using it in anger.

im not saying its got gull wing doors, just that i would not be surprised if it did... its just what i percive cars like that to be.
I comes across to me like those civic's always in max power... look like they come of a video game or rejected cars from a fast and furious audition.

It appreciate the work involved and think its done very very well, however it would need to be understated to impress me, its abit to blaytant and in your face.... Its what I expect every corsa and saxo owner in the land would drool over.

its just not for me
