ive just read this entire thread and i gota say, that is one hell of a gorgeous car! i absolutely love rally slag looks! that does it for me! :P

I have to say im extremely impressed with the arches, they look spot on

on the spoiler front id say go for it because you like it

i love the shape but it doesn't seem wide enough but we wont know till its done.

One thing i do like is just the bottom half of the wrx spoiler, dont see it often would suit that car down to the ground

again thumbs up to you mate

I did consider a Scooby WRX spoiler, but again that too, to me seemed more chavvy, it's what you tend to see on a chaved up cav or somming??

At the end of the Day I would Love to be able to fork out £400 or what ever it is, on a Maxi or F2 Spoiler, but I dont have that sorta money...

I like it, I think it works with the look i'm going for, IF I wanted subtle I would have kept the standard one, I don't want a Pants Jap style in yer face Alloy wing cuz I think that does look shit, and I dont want it to be an Escos WRC replica, so that rules that out.

I think it would be a shame if something as silly as a spoiler puts people off the car, BUT on the other hand I'm not building it for other people i'm building it for me, and as long as i'm happy with it... I dont give a flying fuk what other peoples opinions are.

The simple answer is to stop posting updates on here then no one else will be offended by the hidious monstrosety

I just thought that doing a genuine Maxi replica you'd want to do it as accurate as you could and use the right spoiler

Why don't you look at a Mondeo Touring car spoiler? Don't know the price but it would look good!

Oh, and don't stop the updates ya mardy fucker!

It's now pretty much ready to go, I fitted the spoiler and bumper back up today, I know it's not popular, but i still think i've seen a LOT worse...

I think it goes well with what you are trying to do and as it's probably cost you close to fuck then why not! I dont see all these 'haters' offering you money to get you a 'proper' spoiler

It's not a Halfords jobby and it's not some jap-crap or a Barryboys bolt-on special!

Car looks tidy, LOVING the side arches! Have you done much work with fibreglass before or have you just been picking it up as you go along?

at the end of the day its a free spoiler! it looks ok and does fit with the car, if at any point gary decides he doesnt like it or finds summit more suitable whats he lost? nothing really so i say keep it!!!
