hi no the new project is not from sheffield, i got the shell of paul chesshire and had all the body and paint done and now on the rebuild

yeh will be good to get them both out

i cant see the mk3 being finished next year as ime skint

after driing the car load and giving it abuse at every chance i have broken the gearbox mounts(polly bush with bolt through centre) 1st to go was the front(pulled the bolt in half) then the rear went the other day(same thing hapened to the bolt)and when it went the inlet hit the bonnet and dented it(lucky paintless dent removal can get it out) and the waterpump hit the inner chassie leg(there is normaly a inch and half gap between the two)

what type of gearbox mount is every one using on there big powered rst's and frst's, any help would be good as i dont want to brake any more

thought i would update this thread with some new pics, the car has been running faultless for ages now and the only thing needed doing was a sheel bearing on the n/s front and replacing the wheels with some new rs turbo wheels that where round and not square from potholes

the car was featured in fast ford in the feb issue(sleeper edition) so i have loads of nice pics of it now, after ford fair this year the car is going to have the engine removed and a 1800 zetec fitted and will be sold so i can use the money and the turbo engine in my new project

thanks mate, no they didnt let me out in

but i had a very good look round the heratidge garage at dagenham at all the cars there

hows your car coming on? how was it out on track at combe?

Love this car i think its well mint.I read about it in ff.I cant believe it will do 160.Thats scary lol.

Really miss having the zetec turbo in it now, it wasn't that bad at 160mph

the car was quite stable and got there fairly quick,the only thing that put me off at that speed was me thinking "I wonder what would happen if I have a blow out " at that thought I slowed down lol

The car is now for sale with a 1.8zetec in it, advert is in the cars for sale section
