Small update but I dont know what can I think about it.

And today I was mounting the front lights. It looks great and ugly at the same time.

The lights will be more upper. Front bumper will be upper too (about inch) The body, the hood and the bumper need to be modified but the lights are too small. I dont think that it will be looking bad but the car wouldnt look like an Escort.

Sorry for bad pics. Tomorrow will be better.

Twins: The lights have pretty same shape like original lights so I think that It will work. Clio has the strip under the lights so the lights look higher. I will make this strip too - the lights will be in the same position as the tail lights. It has a place (about 1 inch) between the bumper and the light.

Time for a small update. The front lights are in place and the bonnet is modified for the lights. The wings and the front bumper will be modified in a few days or weeks and the bonnet will have the RST vents. And Ill go to change the tail lights.

This is a cool project, I think the Clio lights are a great idea - makes it look a bit like a really wide mk2 Fiesta

Thanks guys for the comments. Im happy that You like that but Id like to the work goes faster than now. But Im preparing few modification on the engine at the same time.
I have ordered Megasquirt ECU with wideband lambda and gauges from summitracing from USA. I have a new (old) 370cc injectors from Nissan 200SX S13 and now Im waiting for intake ports and fuel rail from the same car.

The bodywork continues and this is the small spypicture what Im doing at the moment.

Im started to collected the parts for turboing my zetec. This is the Nissan 200SX intake manifold with injectors and fuel rail. It will be modified for Zetec or maybe the zetec manifold will be modified ford Nissan 370cc injectors. Its in the future. It was too cheap so I bought complete intake.

Just read complete thread and was loving it untill I got back to the front lights you've chosen to use, the rears look like you'll be able to pull off but the fronts are nasty IMO

Car is GREAT tho

Finished will be looking better then now and I hope that it will be looking like Escort throught that alien lights and wider body. The next project will be original RST S2. S1 will be better but We havent all of important parts for this car.

I found some pics with separate bumpers. The arches were cutting out so the part of arch on the wing will be together with it and the part of bumper will be together with bumper. Like a normal car

Small update after a long time

I was cutting a big holes in tail side for the BMW tail lights but I still havent the plates under the lights so it looks like this. Lower side of body is wider about 1/2" on each side and the bumper is modified too because the BMW lights have sloping side.

Lights nearly in place

The last thing I did. The lower sides of arches dont go together after a cutting this so I needed to take in better place. Now that is looking better.

Next time I will start to modified the rear and front bumper. This will be used like shape for glassfibre mould to producing the glassfibre bumpers.
