Plus if it looked like a replica S1 or 16i people would expect it to be a fast car. Whilst keeping the sleeper look it performs three functions.

*Embarrasses a lot of more expensive "exotic/ rally rep" (scooby/evo) cars.
*Attracts more interest at shows as it is certainly different and isn't 'pretending' to be an S1 or 16i.
*Understated looks keep the thieves away: why would anyone steal an old 1.3 escort when there's something else down the road that they'll have more fun in?

ye the wheels are 6j x 16" x 50et
everyone has there own take on how they would have it, this is just mine, like i said i would like to keep the steelies and they will return one day, when its back on the road this year im looking at uprating the gearbox and diffs, as i want to take it upto 600bhp next year and i think i might have to fit a full roll cage lol
a couple of pics with the whole car in priimer and the panels fitted

I think this thing is just awesome

I must say, if it was mine, I'd stick ambers on the front of it and refit the interior. But of course a cage and buckets is probably the sensible option if it gets out on track a lot.

Hope you can find some steels for it, comps for the track, steels for the road.

Either way, its just a top car, and it's nice to see it being kept fresh too

This car has to be the best ford that i have seen on the scene for a long time and quite possibly the most annoying to all these exotic supercar drivers.
