MY SAFF STORY **update 15/2/09**
It all started about 3 years ago, i brought the standard car , lasted a week before it was treated to a stage 1 chip, and a set of wheels i had lying about, i used it like this for a year or so.
You can see the rear arches are crap, but it was a tidy car.
The engine bay wasnt bad, but needed work.
I was never happy with the car, so the tax ran out, and instead of renewing it i decided to put the car in the garage,
Shortly after this pic was taken ,the whole car was stripped down, engine out, interior out, all the suspension was removed.
Even the quarters were cut off to get rid of thoses horrible arches!
They were then replaced and base coated to get the correct colour, the engine bay was painted,
And part of the engine was fitted,i built this engine to be very strong and take whatever i could throw at it!
no head yet as i was taking longer than i thought to flow the head!
Eventually i started to piece it all together.
living in the lanes meant i couldnt be to bufty underneath, but it was all stripped etch primed and the given several coats of anti-corrosive black paint.
I got it back on the road, and this time i was happy!
I put the standard wheels back on for a time, gently ran the new engine in for thousand miles.
From there i got bored with the wheels
So fitted 18"s
Then the plenum!
And thats almost where we are today, but i havent finished!

Seriously I can understand why you've modded it, much better for airflow!
