Austrian 3dr Sierra Cosworth Project
Hi Folks!
I´m reading through passionford.com for a while now and i thought that it´s time for me to introduce myself...
First I have to say that this place here really is THE reference site for ford fans of all kind. I love to read through all the very interesting topics - unfortunately there are always too many new ones to read all of them...
I´m from Vienna (Austria), so please forgive my grammar mistakes - I promise to do my best
Now here is my project: a '86 Sierra RS Cosworth in diamond-white
(only a few pictures of what happened so far)
Its not finished so far - still a few things to do but the end is in sight...
I hope to be on the road this season!
I will also fly over to Ford Fair this year, so maybe we can meet there (if that is possible )
I will also be at the European Ford Event, hopefully with my cossie

Looks stunning, very good work so far
Do u find it more difficult to sourse parts over in Austria than we do over here?
Best of luck with the rest of the project

Thanks alot...
Maybe a little bit, as we do not have so many part-distributors - so the choice of different parts is not as big as in GB...
But all in all, it´s not a big problem, if I don´t get it from a german or austrian dealer, I usually call one of your dealers

Hi Max!
Ing. Breitfuß seems to be involved just everywhere
P.S. We already booked flights and hotel for FordFair this year
(I guess Michi has already told you that...)

Work is being done to a very high standard by the looks of it. Well done so far and keep us updated with the progress. It's always interesting to see how people abroad work on their cars

Thanks alot!
white is also my favourite colour - I think 3dr cossies look best in white, as the contrast to the black parts of the car is stronger...

Pfffff..... It´s been a while...
After I had some problems with the ignition, I finally took my cossie for the first ride this year.
Funny faces everywhere, because i was driving without the hood at first
(didn´t want to remove it again if something would not have worked properly - working on the engine without the hood is so much easier)
I´ll post some more pictures soon, if the weather is ok I will drive to a show in Germany this weekend...
Hope I will make it
