Default Getting up to DRIFT COMP spec (TrampStyle) Project

Well as soem of you may know i have a 24v v6 sierra drift car which i plan to use in competitions this year. I decided a while back that i wanted to get the car up to EDC spec as it seemed the logical thing to do.(even though im not up to EDC spec yet).

Over the past few months i have been buying up all the bits i need to complete the project.

All the fabrication work will be carried out by my mates fabrication company CHIZFAB.

CHIZFAB says "I Pitty the fool who doesnt have air tools"

Anyway here is a list of things to get done over the next month or soin no order)

Rollcage
Seam welded
Stripped
sound deadening stripped
Hydro hand brake
Strut braces
Plumb in fire ext
Convert my suspension to coilovers
eccentric top mounts
New cosworth clutch
all new gasgets and timing chain
Roll the arches
Try Fab up some adjustable TCAs
And anything else we can think off

******Sorry about pic quality they are from my phone******

So this weekend we got started(finally) Heres the car at its new home for a while.

First thing we did was put the car on a major diet.

Heres the pile.

Then we prepped the seams for welding. How much of an arse is seam sealer?

Then Kyle (CHIZFAB) started seam welding the car from the struts inwards as i wanted to retain some crumple zones

Once he had finished that i went and borrowed an Arch roller from my other sponsor TRIX.

Then i started scrapping of the sound deadening, It came of easier than i thought but its still going to take forever. so i will be there most nights this week to get it off.

Well thats it for my first update. I will be updating this probably on every monday.

Any Questions just ask!!!!!!!!
