Well i thought id start my thread to show u some present pics of my saffcos 4x4 and update as i modify it,the car was bought of my mate gary (G2 FSR) on pf, the plan was after i sold my s2 to buy a £3-4k cossie and enjoy it looked at a couple of dogs and got a phonecall from gary as he was toying with the idea of selling this one as he wanted to get an escos....well i got over there pronto TO TALK HIM OUT OF IT AND LEFT BUYING IT that was april'06...took delivery in august heres some pics....paid good money for a super mint very well cared for car and im a manic bufty so im excited .......

engine bay minty mint.....standard bar ind/kit and mongoose exhaust
64k miles...aircon and its soooo clean

interior is nice and standard with mint leather recaros

the cars going to be lowered 25mm on either eibachs or chassis dynamic springs very shortly,im also going for a NMS stg1 gunship conversion first then slowly start to NMS stg3 it over '07 with a grp a headgasket, T34,greens etc... also secs monitor

Got an omp strut brace cheap lots of people say it looks nice in yellow ....so im in 2 minds what to do with it as theres 2 ways im going to do he engine bay
1. blue samcos, alloy header/swirl pot/power steering/ half auto specialist catalogue... and a candy apple red rocker cover....OR..
2. black samcos, alloy OR black crackle finish above tanks and keep mint green rocker cover or go crackle black or candy red??
so the strut brace will be either chromed or black crackle not sure??
what do u guys think of the above opinions what will look best??
pics of yellow brace as it stands....

well its been nearly a month since my last post...as the weathers been crap and my work hours the cars has been snug in the garage residing under my new car cover i got 2 weeks ago ......but today the sun came out so did the cossie for a bit of fresh air
i love this pic its shows the depth of the smokestone paint

the rear whilst warming up

and a side shot with the sun behind me......smokestone HAS to be the best colour for a saff

not long now and the car will be lowered , then MOT'd ,taxed then driven for the first time

The last few days ive totally gutted the garage giving me at least 1 metre down both sides at the front opening to 2 metres+ at the back so i can do all work on the car and loads of room infront and behind(can probably fit a fiesta behind )....the floor is carpeted..and thecar lives under a nice cover....cor its more spoilt than me
