my xr3i project **09.03.2007** sold
well here it is the nutta's new project, well ive gotta be one to take this on
this time its a mk4 mfi xr3i it needs alot doing to it, it looks like its gonna be pretty rusty underneath it and its filled with rubbish and about 10 bags of old out of date pies but im not gonna complain at £100
any way the pics
i got this pair of bucket seats cause this ones gonna be stripped out and light weight, oh they are the same size but in this pic one was tilted forwards so it looks big not bad for £50 aye
and heres the car
and as you can see theres a load of dents all over it which need sorting and it needs new headlights and a rear antiroll bar on the pass side, and cause i was only borrowing those 3i wheels as somthing to roll it on i straight away got the black turbo wheels on
so what do you rekon

ive got no idea
i got over there today so i took the battery out and the trays rotten but nothing that bad ill see if i got a pic,
then i started just ripping all the interior out cause apart from the dash its all crap, then just before i went i pulled the carpet up from the back of the car and both of those floorpans are shiney and rust free. i havnt looked at the front ones yet but the insulation it really soaked

ripping update
i got started on the car again at about 8 this morning to start ripping it apart to see what work i need to do to it and i was done for the day, well all i can do atm with no tools really with me so this is how it looked by 11am
the worst rust ive found
the front floor pans that i expected to be rotten
i took the door cards and roof lining all out since this pic
and the other little bit of rust, all the rest of the sill i can see atm is good nick
then i had a few hours to spare so i cleaned the hole car using some of the fiber sound dedening i pulled out it looks a bit better for it though

and another update time for it
first thing i did today was attacked some of the sound deadending in the boot , so ages later i had this done
then i did the rocker cover cause it was starting to surface rust, i need doing again but it'll do for now
then i took my smashed windscreen out
and put the new one in
then took the spotlights off and put new headlights on and its already looking better
oh and youll notice that i also put in the driver seat and harness
